COMMON QUESTIONS

When can we check in at the Hillside Cabins?

Arrival time begins at 2:00 PM. We kindly request that your group departs the site by 11:00 AM on the day your stay ends.

What essentials should we pack?

Bring your hiking boots, weather-appropriate attire, and food. We provide the cozy stay and linens, but you are heading out into the deep woods. Please prepare accordingly.

Are pets allowed onsite?

We welcome your furry friends! For their safety and the protection of local wildlife, all pets must remain on a leash. Please be respectful and pick up after your pets—a $75 cleaning and grass restoration fee will be automatically applied if we have to clean up pet waste after your departure.

What is the hunting protocol?

Private land access requires a valid permit from LandTrust or Birddog prior to entry. We prioritize safety and compliance.

Is there designated parking?

Parking is located in front of the garage along PA-36, with space for two mid-size SUVs side by side. Please pull completely off the roadway when parking and use caution when entering or exiting near traffic.

Clear Lake Retreat at Hillside Cabins and Camp

Dave and Maria were excellent hosts to the best cabin! Lots of room for sleeping and hanging out, a nice open kitchen, deck and fire pit area, chock full of a gorgeous variety of plants! What a beautiful property. Close to 36 but private with zero traffic noise. 10/10 will stay again. Thanks Dave and Maria!
